Krept & Konan have been declared winners of MTV Brand New For 2015

After a nail-biting final few days of voting, Krept & Konan have been declared winners of MTV Brand New For 2015 presented by Emporio Armani Diamonds.

Saint Raymond kept the duo on their toes with both acts earning over 60,000 votes each from their determined fans but the Don't Waste My Time rappers just pipped the singer-songwriter to land the crown as this year's victors.

On winning, the pair said: "Thank you everyone who voted, all the fans that re-tweeted when I asked them to re-tweet, all the artists that helped support us, big up friends, family, thank you MTV for supporting us on MTV Brand New, Emporio Armani Diamonds, of course!

"We won, so everybody that voted can get free chicken, just follow us on Twitter to find out exactly how…just follow us to the chicken….we’re going to celebrate, have a party, free chicken.

"You think we’re joking, but we’re not joking, we’ll have free chicken, waffles, doughnuts, everything. You are all invited to sit down and have dinner with us to celebrate MTV Brand New the victory of Krept & Konan."
