Former TLC Member Crystal Jones & Ian Burke Say They Were Disappointed In The TLC Movie

As the world watched the premiere of the VH1 biopic "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story" last night at least two people who lived it didn't recognize parts of it. And they stopped by The Ryan Cameron Morning Show to offer their take on the nationally trending depiction of the ascent of one of the best selling female groups ever.

"They did a good job providing entertainment," began Atlanta-based artist manager Ian Burke, who along with Crystal Jones helped launch the original incarnation of TLC. (Short for Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, the late Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, now).

But "the whole way that the girls got together [in the TV movie] was totally fictitious," Burke continued.

"I was very disappointed," added Jones. "Very disappointed."

In "CrazySexyCool," Jones was kicked out of the group because she wasn't able to sing. In real life, she says there was another reason; which she she shared.

Nonetheless, Kendra G asked her to perform.
