Classic Album: Dr Dre - 2001 (Full Album)

2001 brought Dre back in to the limelight at a time when people felt rap had changed n Dre was to old school to compete...boy were they wrong "Haters say Dre fell off -- how nigga?
My last album was 'The Chronic'". As with The Chronic, Dre brings the next big thing in Hip Hop, in 92 it was Snoop this time it was Eminem along with a compilation of legends; Nate, Kurupt, Devin and many more. Production changed the game with Scott Storch and Melmen adding their own flavour, Scott would go on to have his own period of success in later years.
We hope Detox can live up to the hype and looking back..perhaps the delay was actually Dre waiting for a new protege to emerge...Kendrick Lamar. Lets hope Detox does what his previous projects achieved and bring about a new era in Hip Hop. When ever he decides to release it!
