[SME MEETS] Maxsta **Exclusive Interview**

Born in East Ham, East London, young MC Maxsta is making some big moves at the minute. Having released his debut project, 'The Maxtape', back in 2010 at the age of just 18, his talent clearly shone through as he had many people tipping him to be the "next big thing".

The hype around the young spitter did him a world of good as he began to work with some of the biggest names in the game and subsequently become the very first signing to Jamal Edwards' 'Just Jam' label, whihc is an imprint of Sony RCA. His first release on the label is the very catchy, 'I Wanna Rock', which samples the Run DMC classic and is set for release on August 5th (pre-order your copy HERE).

A couple of weeks ago, SME sat down with a chat with the highly-rated MC to through a few things including, potenitally working with Mac Miller, his lack of interest in London 2012 and why we won't catch him singing any time soon.
