In 2005, Young Jeezy and then unrecognised rapper Gucci Manne collaborated on a joint called Icy. When Gucci rejected Jeezy's intention to put that track on his debut album, the beef ignited. Jeezy uses T.I's ASAP instrumental and goes in on Gucci's street cred and authenticity of his jewellery. This beef is an example of how things can get serious and quick after it left a Jeezy associate dead, and a Gucci associate facing a life sentence.
