My Most Anticipated Albums of 2012

First things first, i am a huge slaughterhouse fan. Having followed there individual careers before they formed the supergroup i have to say it seems they are all reaching there peaks which bares well for the listeners. They certainly did not disappoint with there first album which showcased there impeccable chemistry and love for old school rhyming. When these lot get in the booth u can expect BARS. Joell and Royce both released there 'Free Agent' and 'Success is Certain' respectively in 2011 and shown how they intend to pursue there individual careers too, which is no bad thing.

With Eminem backing this next album i think we can expect big things. As a fan i hope they don't try go outside the box too much. We all know Hip-Hop is a business but hope they don't compromise themselves in order to generate a single.Im hoping they don't have a 'Lighters' type record which was on the Bad Vs Evil album. On a side note Joe Budden has been going hard and has become one of my favorite guys in this rap shit. Mood Muzik 4 / 4.5 really showed us that hip-hop needs him. All in all Im excited to see what they will come up with and is definitely one to watch out for in the new year. Album is scheduled for an April Release.

I thought long and hard before including Detox in my list. We have been waiting over a decade for it now, and Dre recently was interviewed saying he wants to take a break from music. I don't know if im being naive but i really do think it will be out sometime in 2012. A lot of people are expecting him to fail but remember, you cannot just lose greatness. I mean, nobody expected The Chronic 2001 to be such a epic legendary album and everyone counted him out then too. He will come back with a undisputed classic and then everyone will act like they always knew he could do it again.

I dont know about everybody else, but i wanted to cry when i heard ' I Need A Doctor' Feat Eminiem. It felt like a Eminem track with Dre featured on it and to be honest i expected a whole lot more comparing it to ' Forgot About Dre' or 'What's The Difference'. Maybe Jay-Z said it best when he wrote ' Ni@@as want my old shit /Buy my old Album'. Check out the link below of Dre working on a track for Detox, we need this to drop Dre.

Other albums which im definitely looking forwards to include a Nas (Life Is Good), Rick Ross( God Forgives I Don't), T.I (Trouble Man), Kendrick Lemar (Good Kid In A Mad City) and don't count out 50.
