Drake Sued By Distributors of ‘Homecoming’ Film

Things aren’t going too smooth between Drake and the makers/distributors of the Homecoming film.

Homecoming: The Lost Footage will be hitting theaters in the U.S. March 19th for one day only. The film is based on his sold out live concert filmed at Toronto’s Sound Academy in 2009 just prior to him signing with Lil Wayne’s label Young Money. Till now, it was believed to be lost or destroyed. The film will also include interviews with Jas Prince who was responsible for introducing Drizzy’s music to Lil Wayne.

Drake tweeted two days ago, distancing himself from the film and its creative process:

After some fans were left confused, Drizzy surprised everyone by tweeting that even James Prince, who is credited as one of the executive producers of the film was not supporting the venture:

But now, the distributors of the film, Specticast has filed a lawsuit against Drizzy for sabotaging the film because according to the producers of the film, Drake got paid well in advance for the rights.
