Me and My Old School is definitely one of my favourites off 4evaNaDay, (Mixtape) real music to ride too. Only listened to the mixtape once so far, quality once again from K.R.I.T. I'm feeling this album quality movement going on, although its difficult to compare to his last release, due to length, I feel its missing a stand out track like Country Shit, but it does sound like KRIT is stepping up the production game. A track off BIG K.R.I.T's next release 4evaNaDay,Boobie Miles is talks about overcoming obstacles and reaching your goal despite the struggle, so I guess i dedicate this post to a certain ex Chelsea manager. BIG K.R.I.T says

J. Cole - Visionz Of Home

Cole World starts off his Dreamville Weekend in his hometown Fayetteville, North Carolina, this time with production not of his own, but I think the producer Elite done a good job here. Maybe this is a sign of where his approach is going for future projects, getting some one to work on the beat might leave space for J. Cole to flex his lyrical abilities and take it to the next level............we'll see.

Bun B - Stop Playin ft. Royce Da 5'9 & Redman

Some Trill ish from Bun B produced by Mr Inkredible with scratches provided by Statik Selektah. Bun drops a track with Reggie Noble and one quarter of the super group Slaughter House, sounds like this chorus is aimed at all those underground peoples complaining about their situation. I did note the fact Royce has used this verse on a Westwood set, but to be honest I DONT CARE, I'm sure Bun has been holding on to this track for a while waiting for his twitter to hit 4000,000 Twitter followers. I'm just happy to here 3 decent MC's on one beat.

BJ The Chicago Kid ft. Kendrick Lamar - The World Is A Ghetto

BJ is vocalist who sounds like a cross between Marvin Gaye and Bilal, which ticks all the boxes for me, on this track The World Is A Ghetto off the album Pineapple Now-Laters, BJ links up with Kendrick Lamar  to hit us with a smooth track sampled from Will Downing's "The World Is A Ghetto" also check out his previous mixtapes, worth a listen.

After his last album Transition specualtion over Chipmunks move from the UK to the USA to gain an opportunity to sign to a major label has now been made official. Chips hard work has paid off, from his humble co-sign from Wiley to his progress in the UK charts, taking a risk with his last album trying to balance his commercial fans but also his fans from day one has not been easy.
